The Project Manager – Infrastructure
provides project management and oversight for internal and
external hardware and tools projects. These projects will
include the installation and configuration of new hardware,
firmware updates, operating system and other layered software
updates, moving environments, and upgrades to other tools
like Hyperion, Websphere, and Citrix. This position will provide
project planning, tracking, financials, resourcing, risk management,
issue management, change management, and vendor management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Produce detailed project plans utilizing Microsoft
Project as well as other project tools & techniques used
to successfully manage projects
• Submit, Manage, and Coordinate Service Center (ticket
system) requests and tasks related to assigned projects
• Manage multiple large scale projects and successfully
deliver on high profile/priority projects
• Capable of breaking down large projects to clear and
definable sub-projects. Direct other Project Managers to drive
sub projects to completion
• Coordinate and drive cross functional project teams,
schedule, install, test and deliver contracted products within
scheduled timeline and with a high degree of quality and customer
satisfaction
• Establish and maintain strong, effective working relationships
with clients and coworkers
Lead/participate in meetings with customers and internal project
resources
• Provide continuous feedback on project status and
offer constructive options to ensure project continues to
meet original expectations
• Identify resources and/or schedule conflicts and changing
of project scope
• Communicate identification and resolution of business/project
