Marketing,
MARCom, Marketing Manager positions - descriptions below
This area had been
pretty hot for me for about 20 months and has recently seen
a cool down with numerous budgets & development projects
placed on hold.
Companies are focused
on hiring metrics driven marketing professionals to manage
lead generation initiatives. They are looking for people who
can manage a P&L, focus on not only lead generation but
lead conversion. My advice to people in this field is to keep
track of all of your campaigns from dollars invested, leads
generated, deals closed with revenue numbers, conversion rates,
etc. This type of achievement orientation is really becoming
the difference whether candidates are getting not only offers
but really whether or not they get invited to interview. If
you have more questions, contact me to go over detailed specifics
and additional guidance I might be able to provide.
