I worked with a Billion
$ West Coast firm relocating it's C&C department to the Tampa
(likely Westshore area). The ideal candidate had built new or
overhauled an underperfoming department. In addition, someone
comfortable interacting & meeting with top 50 clients.
The position will oversee the Trade Accounts Receivable and manage
the collections from our Fortune 500 portfolio of customers. The
position supervises the efforts of approximately 30 employees,
from Credit Administration and Approval to geographically assigned
supervisors and front-line callers. It typically involves regular
meetings with large customers to discuss payment flow and terms.
It will also require having a knowledge of collection law, as
the approach is to aggressively pursue past due amounts. The position
reports to the Controller and the team will reside in Tampa, Florida.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years of credit and collections
history and will have managed the department of a Fortune 500
company or the equivalent. The salary for the position will be
from $80,000 to $120,000 depending on experience plus a bonus
potential.
